What a fabulous experience we had at Touchstone Grill tonight. We went there for dinner and experienced exceptional service by our server Brandon. His parents, who I believe are the owners of this establishment must be so of proud of him. His dynamic personality and dedication to customer service impacted our experience significantly. Our food was well prepared, served hot and tasted great. The atmosphere was also fantastic with beautiful views of Lake Muskoka and a live jazz performance throughout our meal. If you are interested in a cheap meal, I would recommend McDonalds or Chuck’s Roadhouse in town, both of which I enjoy. If you are looking for exceptional atmosphere, service and food, this is the place for you. Thank you for a great experience. We really enjoyed it and are looking forward to our next visit. Lovely deck, and our server was outstanding. The duck I ordered was nicely cooked. But the rest of the plate was uninspired. What was advertised as seasonal vegetables. I expected roasted asparagus, corn, carrots or beans, all in season. What I received was a few pieces of boiled broccoli and under roasted red peppers. The chef could not have done a much poorer job at the presentation. For $43 for the plate, we won’t be returning Price per person: CA$60–70
