First time here tonight as a party of four. Had the Burrata starter followed by Lasagne then the Cheesecake. Others had the Mushrooms starter, Focaccia. Mains also Carbonarra and a Arabiatta. Forgive me if some of the spelling not 100 percent. Anyway, this is a fantastic restaurant. The staff are really friendly, courteous and polite. The food is. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Visited tonight for the first time after several good recommendations and good feed back. It was mine and my partners 10 year anniversary and really desired an Italian meal. We was greeted on arrival and made aware of a power cut which had disrupted things a bit. So bottled beer only as the draught peroni had been affected . No drama, bottles fine with me. We was shown to our table and presented a menu . We was given 15 mins or so to browse and choose then order. Our main courses when presented was delicious , cooked perfect and was a good quality portion of food which we enjoyed. We then waited a good 20 mins or so and none of the serving staff came over to ask if we was finished or if we wanted to see a dessert menu etc. We stacked the plates on the table corner to signal we had finished and still no one came to the table. By now the restaurant was nearly full of diners, but staff seemed to be criss crossing all over the building and not zoneing specific areas.. The tall gent with the moustache walked by several times doing his duties and never said anything. We waited another 10 mins or so and we had to ask one of the ladies for a dessert menu and another two drinks. My drink was delivered within a few mins but my partners was no where to be seen, even though I made it clear there was a drink outstanding! We then gave it another 20 mins or so and no one delivered her drink or asked us for a dessert order.. It was nearly like we was invisible on table 4! We got up and went to the counter and asked for the bill as we had given up waiting after 35 mins or so. I paid what was due but had got to point i just wanted out and didn't moan as we just wanted out. No one asked us how the meal was when i paid and the fact we both got up and went to the counter didn't seem to trigger any taff responses or even a " how was everything tonight ",? It was like there was no awareness of the zones in side the restaurant or people waiting. I try to support family local businesses and not corporations but I feel flat after this visit tonight.. Its such a shame as the food received was truely spot on and quality is there to see. Just get the staff switched on a bit more.. Maybe the power cut disruption didn't help tonight but I can't answer that bit. Craig W. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £20–30
