Excellent stay. Lovely large family room. Very clean, super food, friendly staff, efficient service, warm ambiance. Couldn’t fault it. Exceeded expectations given mixed reviews.

We've had many meals at the pub. The meals are reasonably priced, and the menu is quite extensive. Last night I had grilled salmon with hollandaise sauce, seasoned rice and spring vegetables. My partner had a rump steak with peppercorn sauce, chips and salad. The food is cooked to order, so you have to wait around 20 mins. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a designated seating area for guests with dogs. The music is easy listening and not too loud. There is seating outside and a children's play area. Plenty of parking. There is an hotel attached to the pub. I would recommend The Amble Inn.

Called in while passing for a bite to eat. It looked nice and modern from the outside and that was the only good bit. We order food and it came after 15 minutes, to be quite honest I have never seen such a disappointment on a plate for many years. Suffice to say we will never be back there again. I’m afraid to say if that’s the standard of the food they can produce today this company won’t last long for sure.
