Lovely food nice&hot when brought to table the lamb curry very tasty the lamb melted in your mouth not chewy mix grill also very nice comfortable surroundings staff very friendly. Will be back thank you. This pub has been mentioned to me a few times for a mixi, so decided to pay a visit with my kids during the school holidays. It's quite nicely done out inside, and has the set-up where you order food at the kitchen window, rather than at the bar. We ordered the Angel Inn Family Mixed Grill which had Chicken Wings, Chicken Tikka, King Prawns, Lamb Chops, Seekh Kebab, and Fish Pakora on it. In addition to this, we chose a Paneer Makhani as a curry, Chilli Chips, and a couple of Plain Naan. The food was superb and the variety of the grill was decent. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed it. I felt that it was reasonably priced too. Only thing letting the place down is that the beer selection is quite basic, but I don't mind a Madrí now and then. Price per person: £10–20
