What a lovely establishment! My mum, stepdad and I stumbled across this place while visiting Loddon on our boating holiday. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was lovely, so much so we stayed a lot longer than intended! A great range of local beers, ales and ciders. The outdoor area was asthetically pleasing and the toilets were very clean which I really appreciate. Jo was very friendly and made us feel very welcomed, well done Jo and your team for what you have achieved so far! Keep up the good work. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Breakfast at the Angel Inn Loddon, the building is beautiful! On entrance you have the option to go left into the “main” building or right into a private room, the owners have created a relaxed and calm atmosphere! This location is definitely value over quantity so if you want a big breakfast for a small price this wouldn’t be the ideal place for you! You can find the menu on their website, they run a build a breakfast service, where you select what you want, therefore individual items are priced, they do have example breakfast on the website to give you an idea. The attention to detail was much appreciated, with the apple juice being served with wafer-thin slices on apple; delicious! Also the bacon is deconstructed and the fat is cooked separately for extra crunch! And the bread is made in house and incredibly tasty! Even the pepper hand grind which I’d never seen before all added to the experience. The lady whose name I didn’t catch, was extremely friendly and attentive (had a little ding ️ bell, as we had sat in the private room) overall very happy, and will be recommending to friends and family who are looking for somewhere special for breakfast! “Personally I like the option of potatoes for breakfast also like a hash brown which weren’t on the menu. Additionally the napkins are on the small side as I’m known for being a bit messy sometimes” Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thanks for the review - yes, we're definitely not an 'all you can eat for a fiver' kind of place, as we source only the highest quality ingredients, locally if possible, and cook everything to order. We're glad you had such a great experience and thank you for recommending us to others. Regarding potatoes that is food for thought! We already have 11 items to keep freshly in stock but this is perhaps something to consider for the future as we develop, especially as they are sutiabel for vegan/vegetarians. Larger napkins is probably out though, as each napkin is washed and ironed daily, so we have to keep an eye on the electricity bill and consider the environment too :)

Low marking due to shocking beer prices---be VERY careful if ordering half pints as you will be paying for the fancy chandeliers in the dining room.
£4/pint--£2.80 half pint????????????
Also check your bill thoroughly, especailly if you chose steak as it may come considerably more expensive tha that on the menu.
Not prepared to be taken advantage of so will not be re visiting which is a great shame as being local it would be ideal to walk to regularly.
