This was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. All homemade, authentic, packed with flavour and very fresh. The value for money was amazing. The service was great, fast with warm and friendly staff. There is no doubt that I will be returning. We had our wedding celebration at The Athenian Tree in August 2025. The owners and staff were highly accommodating and went above and beyond ensuring our special day was the best ever. We had a small celebration with a total of 34 people. The food was great - traditional, delicious and very big portions! All our guests commented on how good the food was and how well the restaurant catered for our celebration. The owners were incredible hosts and kindly allowed us to rearrange the tables to create a better atmosphere for the guests ensuring that it felt like a celebration and not just an afternoon at a restaurant. The service was excellent! We would highly recommend The Athenian Tree for great Greek Food whether it is for a celebration, a meal out or even for a cosy take-away night in. Food was decent enough although menu needed confirming with staff for some dishes. Didn't feel very Greek to me. Minimal atmosphere, could have been any place really. Try Hellenic or Maria's for a better experience.
