The Backyard is a typical neighborhood bar in Squamish. They offer a fairly varied menu and seem to make an effort to provide plenty of options. The food was average overall. The burger could have come with a few more fries, the wings were a little dry, and the pizza was okay but nothing particularly special. The salad, however, was quite good. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and made an effort to help us. There are TVs showing sports, but it doesn’t really have the atmosphere or setup of a proper sports bar. Decent food but not great. I would say too expensive a price for the quality. Should be 25% cheaper for the quality. Ok service. Decent atmosphere inside. Nice patio but overlooks a parking lot.
