We have been regulars for over 10 years at this Reigate pub after a seeing a movie or a meal, but never after being yelled at by the barman today for using their loo while being caught short this saturday afternoon. The pub was totally deserted as was the bar area, so there was no one to ask. When I returned from the loo, a very unpleasant barman had a huge go at me, shouting that how would I feel if he walked into my house and used the loo. (!) I apologised profusely and explained that there was no one to ask. I am a 60 year old lady with a walking stick, so hardly about to shoot up in the toilets. As I said we will not be going to this pub again. There are plenty of alternatives, with bar staff with decent communication skills to boot. Good luck with the cost of living crisis The Bell pub.
