This place has always been our favourite when dining out. We have been visiting for many years. This is a little gem in town. Unfortunately, recently things have changed, not sure if the management has changed. can't see regular friendlier faces anymore. Staff are having trouble understanding the menu specially the wines. I have seen serving the wrong wine to others. Just for last month, we visited 3/4 times, service was not as friendly as use to be. One time, another table was asking for tap water two or three times and never served until they finished eating. Taking a much longer time to take orders, serve drinks, and then food. This happened even on weekdays during lunch when I am on my break. I really hope Boat will sail in the right direction soon. bw Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Hi! After deciding to try Japanese food, one of my friends recommended your restaurant, so I visited yesterday. Unfortunately, after dining at your restaurant, I was a little disappointed because the lady who served me seemed to have limited knowledge about Japanese food. I think on busy days like yesterday, it would be better to have a more experienced staff member working alongside her. Another thing I noticed was that, on such busy days, you may need to appoint more staff to manage the customers properly. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
