Myself and my partner visited after touring around Bodiam Castle and grounds, and we are so glad we did! The food we had was absolutely amazing, some of the best pub food we've ever had. What we had and can recommend: - Bao buns with Korean bbq mushrooms and kimchi - Bean chilli nachos with melted cheese, sour cream, guacamole and tomato salsa - Carrot and courgette bhaji wrap - Katsu curry fries Highly recommended and the price is very fair for the high quality food! Price per person: £20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

Wow I came here for a camping and hiking trip and stopped at this pub and wow Annabel and Ross were so welcoming and lovely to chat too. Ross has perfected the Guinness and Annabel was so helpful with drink choices. I absolutely recommend this place and I’ll be back tomorrow. Molly just started here and she was fantastic too. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had such a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday at the Castle Inn From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that perfect cosy pub charm. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening feel special, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of flavour—and there was a great selection of drinks to enjoy alongside it. It really made the celebration feel extra special. A big thank you to everyone at the Castle Inn for helping create such a memorable birthday. We’ll definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
