We live in Vancouver but every year for 40 years we make a point of going to this restaurant. I recommend you order the “Colander special” and you start off with a delicious soft fresh big bun & butter. Next a crisp cold oil & vinegar salad. Then as much spaghetti as you can eat and it is the best spaghetti ever. Once you are stuffed, they bring out tender tasty roasted chicken and roast browned potatoes. So much delish food for $24.00 ! Outstanding food and value. We rented the Mirror room as we had 3 young boys and 8 adults and we knew the boys would need to be moving and shaking after they ate. It’s a contained room so was perfect for our family get together without disturbing the other patrons. A must experience if you are anywhere in the area of Trail B.C. Service was excellent. Fast , quick and efficient. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Paid street parking Kid-friendliness: Booster seats and high chairs available . The Colander Restaurant offers a delightful Italian experience! I tried the tortellini, recommended and served by Maddie with a big smile. The quality was outstanding, and the portions were generous—perfect for a hearty Italian meal. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavors and excellent service!
