Fantastic pub in an absolute superb location. Staff could not of been more attentive and were quick to make my children laugh and feel welcome. The food was above your standard pub food. It came to the table hot, fresh and full of flavour. My 10month old baby massively approved of their mac n cheese, and the signature burger was the best I’ve ever had. Would return in a heartbeat. Well done Team!

Lovely meal on Father’s Day. Excellent menu for a very reasonable price but the service really stood out as a highlight! Eilidh looked after us so well and was so helpful. My folks are getting older and don’t hear so well. She was patient and thoughtful. Thank you! Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Moved from Helensburgh in January but prior to the move used to come to the Commodore when over here. Now go to place for family celebration meals. But today had given ourselves a day off chores and were a ‘walk-in for lunch’ . The pork roast with apple was amazing and the puy lentil cottage pie my husband had was described as very lovely by him. Love the view out, the fact that its not really noisy on a Sunday daytime, (music but nothing loud and no scrapey chair or loud coffee machine noises) and its spacious, so relaxing. Julien who served us was super efficient but also friendly and engaging (smiley and humerous as well as attentive to customet requirements) Thanks, enjoyed our wee spontaneous treat to ourselves today and glad we chose Commodore. Price per person: £20–30
