Excellent food and rooms. It is about 800 metres outside Coniston but an easy walk. My only downside is that they have smart TVs in the rooms but the apps such as BBC iPlayer don't work. Other than that it is very good. Service: 5

Stayed there for 1 night..fabulous location absolutely the best views and the grounds are big with huts and benches near lake.. beautiful pub/hotel. Food is really good. A good selection of drinks. Family and dog friendly. Service: 5

We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Coniston inn. Room was clean and warm with comfortable beds. Upon arrival we were greeted by Callum who was friendly and helpful. When we got to our room we noticed the bed hadn't been twinned like requested. This wasn't an issue though as a lovely member of the housekeeping team quickly rectified this. Breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Our only issue was with an evening meal. My daughter ordered the butternut sqaush ravioli as her main. Although tasty the portion size was tiny and not worth the price. It would have been better as a starter or on the kids menu. Apart from that we had a lovely stay in a beautiful location and can't wait to visit again. Service: 5
