Nice people, the fish is a generous portion and well cooked. The chips however are very poor. Tasteless. Bland. Poorly cooked. The kind of chips that cause indigestion. My feedback is based on numerous visits and sadly they have got worse vover time.

I was tired and miserable and wanted a quick bite before going home on a Sunday night just before closing time. I didn't realise I'd be having the best fish&chips of my life. The foreign lady at the till is the sweetest person ever, her voice is so warm and her smile is infectious. The fish is massive, full of crunch and not soggy at all and it didn't fall apart. The chips are crispy. I paid 11.20 and had leftovers for next day. Genuinely tasty, I couldn't believe a random chippy in Redruth would be this good especially after trying some other ones. Thank you! I'll surely return to try other stuff. Price per person: £10–20

Good take away food. Busy Friday evenings so wait for delivery can be a bit long...this just shows how popular The Crispy Cod is. Bit disappointed the meat and chips was not as shown on menu. Would prefer chips meat and salad laid side by side rather than on top of eachother. I hate soggy chips & would prefer a move even mix of meat, chips and salad.
