Visited here for a lunchtime birthday party. The function room was light and airy and nicely decorated. The buffet lunch was truly amazing. Fabulous range of dishes , extremely tasty and very plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a fabulous time ! We booked a table for Friday evening and the place was humming delightfully, so nice to be in a busy pub. The food was fabulous, special mention to the lemon Possett and the banana cake dessert. I am not fond of banana cake, what was I thinking and it was fabulous! And the service genuine, I just wish we lived nearer and could come more often. Very happy to recommend it- well worth booking in advance. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
