Do not go away without degusting perfectly cooked duck, fish and pork. It might be good to try delicious wine. The terrific staff welcomes people all year round. Prompt service is something that visitors highlight in their reviews. Prices at this bar are worth attention since they're attractive. The exotic atmosphere is to be found here. But google users haven't given The Dozing Duck a high rating.

We went for an evening stroll around the park and stopped here to use the loos as it was the only place open at 9pm at the far end of the park. The place was practically empty and we just wandered in right past the maitre d' with no acknowledgement at all which we felt was strange for a restaurant. We found the loos at the back and they absolutely reeked of wee like it was some kind of East End of pub (I've lived in the East End so I speak from experience)! Based on that alone not sure I'd wander back here to eat despite the place looking quite an impressive building and the outdoor seating area very large. They did have "crazy Pool" which looked interesting and I did want to try, but this was a romantic evening stroll so decided winning in marriage was more important than thrashing my wife at pool and making her go crazy so kept on walking.

Had the fish and chips with a selection of mushy peas, curry sauce and tartar sauce. I'd have preferred an extra portion of peas instead of the curry sauce but would know for next time. The batter on the 'huge' fish was light and crispy, the chunky chips were crispy too. Bit pricey for fish and chips, but was delicious Price per person: £20–30

Tasty food and drinks at the dozing duck and a good spot to sit outside too. Quite a way from the main area…. Needed the drink after that walk !! Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
