First off, let me say that the waitress who was taking care of us was exceptional. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she was a young woman with blonde hair. She was kind, attentive, and very accommodating. She was awesome!! Unfortunately, the food at this restaurant really isn’t very good at all. We were looking for an authentic Italian restaurant. Although the restaurant advertises authentic Italian food, what it actually produces is mediocre Americanized Italian food, the sort that one would get from big chain, Italian restaurants. The pizza is paper, thin, and the pizzas have zero body on the crust. The ingredients don’t feel fresh tasting because it’s covered in greasy cheese. It reminds me more of the sort of pizza one would get from a walk-in pizza joint south of the border. We also ordered the chicken Marsala and Salmon. Both were dry and tasted similar to that of something one would get from a cafeteria. We also ordered some pasta, the Carbonara and Scoglio. They were ok, but not good enough to have us want to return. The pancetta in the carbonara was the best thing about the meal. If you like American style Italian food with hefty portions, you will like this place. If you’re looking for authentic Italian food, this is definitely not the place for you. Hello Joe. We are sorry to hear the meal did not meet the expectations. We really wish that when the waitress did the quality check on your table, you would have mentioned all this and we would have tried to fix things right away instead of having to read it on a reviewhaving said that, we will speak with our culinary team to ensure better execution in the future

Although the service was good the food was terrible. The pizza crust is so thin and almost cracker like. Chicken and salmon super dry and unflavoured. The pasta was okay. For appetizers we got calamari and they were very tough and chewy. We are Italian and do not agree with the label of authentic at all. Severely disappointed. Food: 1

We are truly sorry that you didn’t enjoy the meal but I really wish when the waitress did a quality check, you would have said something and given us the opportunity to make things right then and there instead of posting a review after the fact.
