I don’t know if there’s new people running it now or what has happened. This pub was always a staple stop off when passing on the boat for the real ale but the good choice has been replaced with Greene King dishwater and HPA that was barely drinkable and the poor lady behind the bar had no clue how to pull a pint. It was such a disappointment to see the changes.

First visited the fountain inn in September with 4 of my friends it was my birthday from the time we walked in to when we left the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming Steve the owner offered me a drink for my birthday.We all ordered food which I have to say was delicious just like my nan used to make we all had our belly’s filled and a few drinks too the cocktails are to die for (we had a few) x anyway we enjoyed it that much we went back a second time and enjoyed ourselves just as much as we did the first time made to feel welcome bar staff second to none this time we ate so much food we could hardly move but it was worth it and guess what we’ve booked in for a Christmas meal fantastic but don’t take our word for it go in and try it for yourself I promise you won’t be disappointed Thanks Steve and all the staff at the Fountain See you soon x
