Really untidy and disappointing for the price. Bathroom is filthy with the shower pressure being the equivalent of a baby blowing out a candle. Only for one night, but just a real let down considering the location and the price. Considering reviews from over five years ago state the hotel is looking to do a "refurbishment" Glad it's just for the one night, but absolutely criminal for what they charge Service: 1

Nestled in the little town of Pangbourne, the George Hotel not only offers a cold pint and a great range of offerings for lunch, but they offer rooms too. The staff were welcoming and made you easily settle in for the rainy afternoon. Centrally located and easy to find. Service: 5
