Absolutely the best hotel I have stayed in staff are Amazing Ian and john was a great at bar and have looked after us will defo be bk rooms are spotless guys can't do enough for yous when u r here x

Just back from a long weekend staying in the Harbour Inn in Anstruther. We had booked three rooms in this traditional Scottish hotel and all would go back. This isn’t a generic concrete block hotel but a historic hotel with lots of character run by locals with very modern refurbishments. Check in was easy and all the staff we met were very friendly and couldn’t do enough and also gave us some great recommendations for visiting the area. The beds and pillows were possibly brand new and really comfortable so we all slept well. Nice warm shower and comfy towels in the morning. We had a few drinks and played some pool in the downstairs pub on the Saturday night. The friendly locals helped create a great atmosphere. The hotel is right on the waterfront so is central to all the local restaurants etc. We travelled by bus and the bus stop is 30 seconds from the front door which makes it great for exploring other nearby towns and brewery etc if you would like to sample the local beer!
