Great beers, good service, lovely staff but unfortunately it’s very kid friendly and you often can’t get somewhere to sit because there are kids sat there plugged into iPads. Would be great if there were adult only times / events. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

What can I say about the Hop Box? There are always different beers on every week with a rotating menu and occasional tap takeovers and even special events. It’s such a chilled out place to be most of the week and the staff there have taken their time to get to know me which has also helped me make friends which I hadn’t been able to do in any other bar I’ve been to, staff know exactly what I want to drink and are super kind to me and understanding even if I’m having a bad day. When the bar gets busy, the bar staff acknowledge that you’re there and always try to serve you as quickly as possible and staff are always trying to make sure that everyone is having a good time aswell. I’ve been going here for 2 years (not quite an OG patron) and it is definitely my favourite place to drink in the Ware and Hertford area.
