After a beautiful cruise down the river at wareham this place was a ray on sunshine just over the bridge. The staff were so friendly with great service during a very busy time honestly just couldn't do enough for you especially Gracie with that fabulous smile. The food was absolutely fantastic, it came with some complementary Italian bread from a local shop very nice indeed. I ordered the wild mushroom linguine with a side of caramelised red onion & mozzarella garlic bread omg fabulous 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We have just got back from having dinner at the Italian Kitchen and we were so impressed I had to leave a review immediately! Firstly the place is beautiful with a great atmosphere and lovely seating. Our server Megan was a delight, not overbearing but just the right amount of attention and a wonderful personality (so thank you Megan for making our first visit even better because of you!). The food was fantastic, my husband had 5 of the small plates as his main course which he absolutely loved (there wasn't a scrap left and he's a hard man to please :-)) and I had the mushroom linguine with a char grilled chicken breast (stunning). Our desserts were to die for and the expresso coffee absolutly lush. Hats off to the chef and the staff. We will definately be returning and will also be recommending the Italian Kitchen to all our friends. Thank you so much for a superb meal and wonderful service! Visited for the 1st time last week and they were very busy, however they found us a table near the window which was nice as it was very hot. We ordered some drinks which came immediately but we then waited 45 mins before saying to the manager we had not had our starters yet. He was deeply apologetic and went to find out the issue. When they came the mushrooms in garlic were very nice and served with lovely toasted bread. I ordered carbonara , my favourite but sadly this bore no resemblance to Italian carbonara . It was over salted and in a thick glutinous sauce so much so I could not pick up my spaghetti and roll to eat without the whole lot coming in the fork too. If the chef is Italian then he must be aware this is not carbonara and I think the British taste is enough to know the difference . My partner had the Marsala chicken which he enjoyed very much. It’s a nice setting and service was very good so if this dish was adapted it could be great.
