We planned a birthday meal for my Mum and it was pretty faultless; the food across the table was delicious from start to finish, zero complaints and everyone very happy across three generations. The service was attentive and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we came into the restaurant. Thank you very much for everything! Absolutely amazing experience at The Lane! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, modern, and welcoming. The restaurant has a stylish interior with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. The food was outstanding — full of authentic flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The Murgh Shaba was easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time: tender, smoky, and packed with rich spices. Every dish we ordered tasted fresh and high quality, and the portion sizes were generous. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening, making us feel genuinely looked after without being intrusive. Service was quick, and the overall dining experience felt smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re looking for excellent South Asian cuisine with great ambience and top-tier service, The Lane is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend — we’ll absolutely be coming back!
