Great food here, always hot, served quickly, lovely atmosphere and environment. Great quality and value for money. Can’t fault it at all apart from the salt and pepper isn’t replenished in the condiment buckets will be there again definitely

My opinion is that I wasn't happy with a meal in there which was the the Scouse or stew ,it was served just warm.And there wasn't enough for one thing half a bowlful and where it says you get a bloomer with it you don't.You get 2 slices of bread instead .I won't be going there again that's for sure.

The lingmell inn is advised in the Liverpool echo as free school meals ? Well on my visit earlier I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, on arrival I asked the lady if they were doing the school kids meals she said yes an seated myself and son on the table next to the toilets, she came over an asked if we would like any drinks, and I order 2 glasses of water, after askin what was on the childrens menu she gave me a menu, my son ordered chicken nuggets fries and peas, an I order nothing as I had no money, then a few moments later she came with the bill and charged me for the meal my son had I was absolutely mortified, I paid the bill with the only money I had for bread an milk, I've never felt so embarrassed, I will not be visiting this establishment in the future nor recommend it, it's obviously a ploy advatising free school meals for kids who are in need and then charging for them. Also the hand sanitizer station on arrival was empty, there was no handsanitiser gell .
