Went for dinner after hiking Kinder. What a beautiful pub and an amazing garden. The bar staff were amazing very friendly service. Stayed for food. The food was delicious I absolutely loved it. The young lady who served me was brilliant. Was a fantastic experience. If you are in the area this is a destination to go to.

We just stopped for coffee on the way to Nottingham. Clean toilets with toilet paper, hand dryer and hand cream. Coffee available with lactose-free almond/ soya/ oat milk. We've got the impression that waitress was working as a form of a punishment.

We did a 10k walk/hike in the surrounding area and the Maynard was probably about halfway through the walk, so we decided to stop for some breakfast and we wasn't disappointed the food was good quality and cooked to a very good standard! The staff are all friendly and professional and the Maynard itself was very clean and cosy and a brilliant location for people who like walking/ hiking
