Such a lovely breakfast. Coffee and ice tea so delicious. Eggs benedict & hemingway cooked to perfection!!! We will be back. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Was in meeting a friend for coffee and cake today Very noisy...loud music coming from the kitchen - had to ask waitress if it could be turned down. When the waitress served my coffee she did so from behind me instead of at the side of the table. I was speaking to my friend and had raised my arm while describing something as I was unaware the waitress was behind me and did not think for a moment she would serve my coffee over my shoulder. The coffee went all over me and the table. I was not asked if I was ok or offered anything to dry myself off with. Instead when the waitress came back with my replacement coffee she implied it was my fault as I had raised my arm while talking. They used pieces of blue roll paper tissue to clean the table and floor around us, and didn't even ask if we would like to move to a clean table - we had to suggest this to them. No apologies - made to feel it was all my fault - still had to pay the full bill (and for dry cleaning !) - won't be back!

Your lack of spatial awareness is matched only by your lack of self awareness in your response. Our member of staff, who required both first aid and a full change of clothes, is fine by the way.

We would highly recommend The Mill Forfar. My husband and I sampled the Valentine’s Menu tonight and the food and service were excellent. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
