Had a very pleasant dinner Wednesday evening. Staff were friendly and helpful and the seating was fairly well spaced out, not cramped together to fit in as many as possible like you find in some places. A very relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend the chick n mix sharing starter. Both the tenders and the wings were juicy and succulent. The beef and red wine lasagne had a good depth of flavour. We did wait a while for food to come up, about 30 minutes but they were very busy, and when it did arrive it was all piping hot. I would most certainly come here again. Awsome service at the Optimist Tavern Hacton lane Upminster provided by the crew today 29/3/26 . Special thanks to Anne , Casey , poppy and Emily . We were provided with quick prompt and very professional service , more important they were very polite friendly and considerate. Trust the crew very much to avail excellent service and smiles . John 5 roku temu na Restaurant Guru

Had a great evening last night, staff doing there best with the system playing up vicki was taking our orders and getting our drinks as quick as she could always happy and smiling and joking with us trying to do the best she could, the team were fantastic and we will return for another time, food was also very tasty especially the Katsu curry! Thanks for a great night!
