Have just stayed at the Park for 2 nights. Service and food excellent. Room was a little noisy as we were on the front.

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel, much frequented by local people. Wonderful views across the Tweed valley to the hills opposite. Great walks available in the vicinity. Town centre 5 minutes walk away; lots of independent shops with interesting produce and very friendly staff. The nearby John Buchan Story is a superb tribute to that great man and his story. It holds a complete set of all his works and thise of his sister Anna (O.Douglas).

Popped in here for a spot of lunch recently on a day trip to Peebles. The food was tremendous and we left stuffed. We also bagged some desserts we took home for later and they were also excellent. Highly recommend if you are in the area. We are holidaying in Glentress in August and will be back! Service: 5
