Went for their flagship dish, the “Lomo Saltado” — it should honestly be renamed Onion and Salt. The dish was completely overwhelmed by huge chunks of onion, with what tasted like microwaved rice, oven chips and a cheap, excessively salty sauce. To top it off, there was barely any steak in what is supposed to be a steak dish. Comfortably the worst thing we ate at the market. Really disappointing.

The Pork Belly is exceptional, interesting flavours with a subtle kick and generous portion size. I hope they bring back the Lomo Saltado. Don’t overlook The Peruvian when visiting Edinburgh Street Food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
