I recently visited The Plough Inn for their Sunday roast, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The nut roast stood out as a unique twist—not the usual loaf, but served in ball form. It was absolutely delicious and a refreshing change. The chicken with sausage was equally satisfying, perfectly cooked and flavorful. The roasted potatoes deserve special mention—crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside, just as they should be. The side dishes were also impressive, particularly the cabbage, which was cooked to perfection and had a tangy kick that elevated the meal. The true highlight, however, was the sticky toffee pudding. It was delightfully fluffy rather than dense, and the banana ice cream served on top added an interesting and surprisingly delightful twist. Service was just as delightful. We were greeted warmly and they are very attentive throughout the whole meal.
