1:15pm Saturday - locked and no sign of life (despite the times on the listing) Such a shame as, after we walked up the valley from Esholt on a hot and humid day, I was gasping for a cold one! Edit: Thanks for the response - I'll take you up on that as your pub looks great in a lovely setting and I'd love to call in next time I'm trekking around the area.

Hi Paul, completely understand this and apologies from my side. A food delivery wasn’t made so I needed to run out to pick up before 4pm. As it was quiet and I understood that delivery wasn’t being made, I made a decision to run to local Sainsbury’s to prevent letting people down. Next time your here let me know and I’ll personally buy you a beer

We had a wonderful family get together and lunch at The Princess this past weekend, thanks to the tasty menu and great service! The Landlord (Luke) couldn't be more accommodating; he was communicative from the outset, wanting to make sure everything was nicely set-up for us, including for my mum who has accessibility issues. We were even made welcome to bring our friendly doggo! There's a great vibe to the pub, the special Sunday menu had something for everyone in the party and the old-school friendliness and service was much appreciated! We will be back!
