This is “the best” pub in Handforth by a country mile!!!!!!!! Sue and her team are the most welcoming staff I’ve ever come across! There is constantly something on! The entertainment is varied to suit everyone and is always top quality! They are community focused and better still veteran focused! They hold monthly breakfasts for veterans and their families! And the food is gorgeous but especially the fish and chips! It’s genuinely the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! Homemade chips just like your mum used to make! Honestly get your butts there for food, or night out or even if you’re catching a train go a little earlier for a cheeky pint or lunch! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
