We have been here on different occasions and have enjoyed good food and service. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: £30–40

We travel the country a lot and usually try and find a good Indian while on the road. Booked into the Angel hotel and popped off to the Raj. I ordered Chilli Garlic Chicken and when the dish was put on my table it looked great. I stuck my knife in the sauce to try it out and it was unreal. I was hoping the chicken would be good and it was perfect. My partners Chicken Tikka Balti was also exceptional she said. Any regular curry eater knows you can visit a lot of places before you find a good one and this place is ‘the’ good one. We are now planning to use Chippenham more regular as a stop over when travelling to that part of the country on business just because of how good this meal was. The best curry I have had for probably 10 years. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60

Very easy to get a table and the staff were very friendly. Very disappointed with our dishes. Chicken was very dry as though it was cooked previously and reheated. Too much salt added , not a pleasant experience. I'm sorry to say , the worse curry we've ever tasted. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: £10–20
