Was hearing to a different pub after a long walk but was hungry so by chance stopped at this one instead. And boy what a great decision that was. Lovely big garden, good selection of beers and not the basic ones you find in every pub these days. Ordered the sharing Sunday roast woth 3 types of meat and that was one of the best roasts I had in a long time. Happy to go out of my way to end up in the place by chance again. Price per person: £20–30

This pub has been a long favourite of ours and we regularly visit for the Quiz nigh on a Tuesday, but have been popping in at other times too. The atmosphere is fun and lively, the staff are super friendly and welcoming and drinks and food are always excellent! I see some reviews saying they run out of certain foods at times but I say its a sign of good turnover and the crew are always able to make menu recommendations. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
