Scruffy looking pub, but looks can be deceiving, food was really nice, bar staff were extremely friendly, and the atmosphere was great. A lovely meal had by all and dog friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Called into this pub whilst on holiday. The atmosphere was exceptional, we were made to feel welcome by both customers and staff including the landlady. The food was excellent. Everything was homemade including the pies. Cheese and onion pie was best I ever tasted. Big fat homemade chunky chips were delicious. Only regret is that we came on last night of our holiday. We'll done everyone. Amazing experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
