Having worked doing the music and promotions wednesdays and saturdays pre' Covid at The Snipe for almost 6yrs after the first refurb I met many great people from the local area and enjoyed it every single time. The customers appreciated the music/karaoke etc and regularly on a saturday evening there were always well over a 100 people in the venue and a warm and welcoming crowd they were. After the closure the person placed in charge an "agency" person was from the start the most rude and obnoxious person I have ever come accross in my 45+ years in the music business. This woman Dionne alienated so many long standing customers and to put it mildly she was an idiot full stop. I have worked on radio and also for over 30yrs in top Manchester City centre nightclubs both promoting them and playing music, so my experience should speak for itself. The praises I want to put forward are not for me but the lady who has now taken over the tennancy Katie. Having worked there a couple of days ago I had said to her prior to that any help I could provide her with would be given. Talking to regular patrons the consensus is everybody likes her and I am sure we all wish her well in this new venture for her. Your sincerely, Vinny
