Super friendly country pub . Dog friendly. I only had a snack but the food did look v nice. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20

Great traditional village pub, the staff were very welcoming and great with our kids. We were staying nearby and being able to buy drink to takeaway was helpful too. The public playpark behind the pub is perfect for kids. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure Parking space: Not sure

What a fantastic place having booked to stop in the village it was great to only have a short walk to the Stone House Inn having previously booked which I would recommend I had mentioned the steak pie which I was so pleased to find they had saved us a piece as it sells pretty fast by the sounds of it. It’s a great atmosphere in the pub a busy local used by the locals and visitors we booked our table for 5:30 but wasn’t rushed to get seated so we had a couple of relaxing drinks whilst waiting. The food portions are great not over facing but plenty to fill and my wife had the Sunday roast beef and they wasn’t skimpy with the slices of beef it was like 3 steaks on a plate. The staff was friendly helpful and service was fantastic. I would highly recommend The Stone Inn to anyone passing or staying near by you will not be disappointed.
