I visited the strathaven for lunch a few weeks ago with my husband, we were presented the whole menu and we had the burger and mac and cheese which was Absolutely appalling. which did infact led us to become unwell an hour after I believe. The wait for the food was so long about 40mins before our plates were presented to the table. The staff are as useful as chocolate teapots, when we visited it was an English woman and a man serving us. We were basically completely ignored during our overall visit and I overheard the woman saying “ they better tip”, why should you expect tips for terrible customer service and food! The place looked minging to be fair, cobwebs, dust and dead flies everywhere. I think the health inspectorate would need to take a visit here. Would not recommend stay clear unless you want it coming out of both ends! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: £30–40
