We stayed at The Talbot for the weekend and had a really enjoyable stay. It’s a charming, traditional pub full of character, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed for a weekend break. It was the perfect size for a good night’s sleep and included a clean private bathroom, making it ideal for a short stay. One of the highlights was that they were making fresh pizzas outdoors, which created a lovely atmosphere and was great to watch. It added something a little different and made the whole place feel even more inviting. The pub has a cosy feel, a good selection of drinks, friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’d happily stay again and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a traditional pub with plenty of character. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £100+

Dropped in for a late lunch when passing and was pleasantly surprised, very welcoming and well kept pub which is also dog friendly in all areas. Good beer served with a smile which is what I like to see. Food was excellent and not skimped on and served quickly with some of the best tasting chips I have had in a long time. Overall well recommended and wil definitely call in next time we are in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £10–20
