Got tired of boating so stopped by for a flight! So happy we did! Great atmosphere, beer and food!!

Stopped in while visiting the Island. Had the “Island Red Head” burger with a poutine and my wife had the “Meatball grilled cheese.” Portions were great, hardly finished my meal. Burger was excellent; tasty, well cooked, made to order. Grilled cheese was alright, maybe not our flavour. But the bread was super-fresh, and the tastes were on point. Poutine was a bit disappointing with salty gravy and limited curd, but still hit the spot for a poutine craving.
It was great family-style seating, so be friendly and share a table - and the experience.
Having the brewery right there adds to the atmosphere, great way to try new flavours.
Overall a good experience. The reviews I read said the burgers were on-point, and to that, I can agree for sure.
Worth a stop for sure!

Tried the hot wing challenge and I should've read the last part about the increase in....performance. The wife, nor I, were fully expecting the marathon that came afterwards as I'm a sprinting man, myself. Needless to say, we were both left winded, satisfied and wanting more. Thanks, The Trough! You not only have excellent food but you also saved a marriage. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
