Lovely pub Lovely people, The land lord and Land Lady and their staff Polly were , so so friendly. Beer is spot on but the peaistus de resistance was the food. We have been to the Walnut tree appleshaw on two occasions and the food was for me and my partner was the best we have had in a long while. Sam who is the chef is a genius you have to come and try it. Thank you all and as Arnie says I,ll be back. Jim & Julia

Great friendly local pub, the locals are welcoming and support the pub with lots of community charity events. The food is good with a new chef and they are in the middle of redecorating the inside. Looking forward to seeing the garden opening in the summer

Visited today for first time. Warm welcome. Small simple menu but good genuine pub food that’s home cooked. Oh the chips! Lovely atmosphere and friendly. This is a small but homely pub. Highly recommend and will be going again. Well worth asking what the specials are. Dog friendly! We were advised it’s better to book if possible so they can plan numbers. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
