Sunday afternoon. Ordered mug of tea after a forest walk. It tasted of cardboard. My friend had a cheese and chive scone. Undercooked and too doughy. The young staff were friendly. Service was quick. It’s in a lovely position with several pods which can take up to 8 people. Dog friendly as all seating outside. Parking in National Trust car park next door. Free if you are a member of NT. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Prices of cups of tea are ridiculous £3 and says on there menu on wall £2 which i believe is illegal and should be selling for price advertised on board whether its a mistake of not. As a member of the public I can buy a yorkshire tea bags for around £11 for 480 bags which is less than 3p per bag ,cups are also pence so there making a absolute fortune just on that. Bacon and sausage barms also over priced and the quality is rubbish ,I've had better at a roadside butty van . Barns low quality just air you bit and they go flat. The bacon and sausage dry,not enjoyable at all. I can only presume the fact there in Alderley Edge is why they charge so much as its a wealthy area,so maybe they dont mind paying stupid prices. People that work normal jobs and work hard for your money I would avoid , unless you have more money than sence. Nearly £10 for a sausage bacon and egg barm is nuts. The reply i imagine will be well its from local sources and very high quality . Well I've eaten at lots of places and will never come back or recommend and id guess the positive reviews on here are from people that are very rich, eat alot of junk food and unsure what is actually good food , deluded or friends. The Wizard Tearoom is located in picturesque National Trust surrounding. Popular with families & dog walkers this quaint and cosy café caters to all. Inside the décor is welcoming with warming log burner, clean, with fresh flowers on tables and relaxing with newspapers to peruse. The dogs are not left out either, with fresh water bowls, complimentary dog biscuits on the counter and even doggie sausage meals on the menu. My toasted BLT was delicious as was the Homemade Lemony & Blackberry (GF) cake. I highly recommend this friendly café and will most certainly return soon.
