If you or anyone in your party has to eat strictly gluten-free, you need to visit The Woolpack. My boyfriend is a severe coeliac, meaning cross-contamination is a massive worry for us whenever we eat out. They actually have a specific gluten-free menu that is super inclusive with tons of options, so you don't feel limited at all. The team here went above and beyond to ensure complete safety, and we are so grateful to report absolutely zero issues or cross-contamination! What made it even better was the quality of the food. We ordered the pizza, and it honestly tasted exactly like a "normal" pizza, none of that cardboard texture you usually get with gluten-free bases! The service overall was fantastic, but a special shout-out has to go to the chef, Anton. He was absolutely lovely and personally came out to check that everything was okay and safe for us. It is so rare to find a place that combines top-tier food safety with such warm, genuine hospitality. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Anton and the team!
