The legal obligation is to supply drinking water. You were directed to drinking water but wanted the staff to get some from the hand wash sink from the glass wash. So you did have access to water. Just remember when you go out for a night out remember the venue you attend has bills to pay. Your one bottle of water you brought would definitely pay the bills.
