I hadn’t been to The Thomas Cubitt for about 12 years, so it was genuinely lovely to go back tonight. It is still a proper old Belgravia pub, full of character and history, with a very good pint of Guinness and, importantly, an excellent choice of wines by the glass. Being able to have a really decent glass of Chablis in a pub is something I always appreciate. I was told this evening that Young’s has now bought it. I just hope they are careful not to change too much, because places like this work precisely because they have their own identity. In an area like Belgravia, offering good quality wine by the glass really matters, and The Thomas Cubitt gets that right. Thank you to the team for a very enjoyable evening. The Thomas Cubitt Pub Belgravia was recommended to us. We had dinner on a Saturday night: solid food, excellent service, cosy place, and public transport nearby, and not as huge and impersonal as all the tourist places just around the corner. Recommended if you're staying around Victoria Underground Station or Pimlico (like us). Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
