Worst customer service in Scotland. Last year I waited over an hour for my drink. Children were running around throwing things with no word from management to stop them. Decided to try it again. I was told the couldn't serve me because they were full. There were MAYBE six people in the restaurant...over 2 dozen empty tables. They wanted me to leave e and come back in 20 minutes instead of just seating me and telling me it would take about 20 minutes. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Breakfast: good. Dinner: avoid! This is Premier Inn's own restaurant/bar which serves breakfast 0630-1030 and dinner 1700-2100. Breakfast is the standard Premier Inn breakfast buffet with hot food (the usual Full English bits), yoghurt, fruit, cereals, toast, pastries, juice, tea and coffee. It's usually all very nice and not too busy at any one time. Dinner is from a menu and usually not very good (hence the restaurant was always almost empty when we went there). Most meals are clearly either microwaved or cooked in the oven from frozen. Service is really bad: took 30 mins for food to arrive (despite us being one of 3 tables), soup served with a knife and fork, salad missing its croutons and containing half frozen veg, the staff are clearly inexperienced and find the whole thing very awkward. Make the most of Edinburgh and go elsewhere! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
