Called in for an early dinner and drinks, absolutely superb service from the waiting staff, friendly and cheerful bar staff and the food and drinks were top notch, all in all, couldnt fault it and would highly recommend!

Dear Tigerlily Management Team, I am writing to raise a complaint about a dining experience at Tigerlily Edinburgh, Friday December 5 6:30-8:30pm 4 people which was deeply disappointing given the occasion and the prices charged. I visited with four close friends while we were on a trip to Edinburgh. This was a special reunion for us — we had not all been away together since 2013 — and this meal was intended to be the highlight of our trip. We booked in advance and had high expectations. While I did enjoy my main course (the beef bourguignon), the experience deteriorated significantly thereafter. Dessert arrived cold, and after waiting some time I had to ask the manager for a replacement, which was brought out. However, the fact that a dessert reached the table cold in the first place was unacceptable, particularly given the cost of the meal. More concerning was the excessive delay between courses. We waited approximately 1.5 hours between the main course and dessert, and it was clear that our table had been forgotten. My friends were reluctant to complain as they did not want to cause a fuss, but the atmosphere at the table noticeably soured as everyone became disappointed and uncomfortable. What should have been a celebratory meal became frustrating and awkward, and we felt like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Although the margarita was enjoyable, this did little to offset the overall experience. We ultimately asked for the service charge to be removed, but even with this adjustment, I still feel that what we paid did not reflect the standard of service or quality delivered. I have attached a photograph of the receipt for reference. The bill was split between us, but the disappointment was shared equally. I am taking the time to write this because the experience fell well below expectations for a venue of Tigerlily’s reputation, and because this meal meant a great deal to us personally. I would appreciate your acknowledgment of this complaint and an indication of how you intend to address it. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards,
