I'm a regular here. I come multiple times a day and most of the staff know me well. So does this manager. Today I asked for a simple modification: a medium latte without the espresso shot (steamed milk for my kid). I've done this at other Tim Hortons without issue and offered to pay whatever they wanted to charge. Instead of helping, the manager repeatedly refused while I was trying to explain politely. But here's what really bothered me, when I couldn't get through on the drive-through speaker, she completely avoided coming to the window. Instead, she was screaming in the back saying "no we don't do that" to her employee Daia. I could hear her yelling it. Daia clearly understood my request was legitimate and was probably trying to explain to the manager that it's fine, I'm willing to pay for a latte without the espresso shot. But the manager just shut her down. As someone who comes there multiple times a day and is known by the team, being treated this dismissively was disappointing. It's not about the drink , it's about a manager who won't listen, won't problem-solve, and resorts to yelling instead of basic customer service.
