My go to place for grabbing food on my break is Tim’s because of their fast and friendly service.I went to Tim Hortons on my break the other day. I was very upset to have witnessed something happen between an employee and a manager, it was busy and there were a few people ahead of me; It was morning time around 12:00 pm, I had ordered my drink and food, I was standing waiting for my food calmly, when suddenly I witnessed one of the managers speaking rudely to the employee because the employee was speaking to the customer in a different language. The manager said “ if you speak and understand her language, that is fine; but we can only reply back in english, as per our customer service rules”.I observed the customer was an older lady of south asian descent and so was the employee. The lady was communicating to the employee about her food and drink order, she was pointing to the screens placed above the counter. I felt really upset that the lady was older and that I don’t think Tim’s Hortons does not have a rule against speaking multiple languages. The store manager herself looks of south Asian heritage. If I was in the place of the employee and if I speak and understand the language of the customer, as a part of customer service, I will communicate with the customer in which they feel comfortable. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Too many flies here and there on the display bagels and donuts as well as on the racks at the back of reception desk. Makes me rethink going to Tims. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
