5 STARS!!!!!! One of the BEST burritos I've ever had. Got the birria burrito & it was so fresh! The tortilla was so soft. I loved that they made the food fresh & had a salsa/condiment area. I live in the West end & was in the area for an appointment. I am so glad I went. I can't wait to go back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

That’s a championship-worthy review! We love hearing that the birria burrito, soft tortilla, and salsa bar made the trip from the West End worth it. The birria Canadian burrito is without exaggeration the greatest burrito I've had so far in Toronto, and I was born here. Absolutely stop here to get delicious healthy food at a good price if you are traveling on line 2. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Located near Broadview Station, Tortaco is a lovely Mexican Restaurant near the area, especially for a pre-concert meal before heading to Danforth Music Hall. We found the restaurant clean and straightforward, featuring a simple but well-organized menu. We would come back again to try more on their menu next time! The menu offers a range of options from Tacos, Chilaquiles, Tostadas, Tortas, Quesadillas, Quesabirrias, and Burritos. The protein selections come with a standard set of toppings and garnishes, which keeps the customization simple. They also offer traditional beverages like Horchata, Hibiscus, Mexican Coca-Cola, Mexican Coffee, and Jarritos, and desserts such as Tres Leches Cake, Chocolate Cake, and Churros. During our visit, we ordered two sets of tacos. For the first set of tacos, the Birria, Cochinita, and Pastor, the flavours were very well balanced, with the Pastor being a favourite choice. The second set of tacos, Fish, Shrimp, and Chorizo, was also good, but the Fish Taco had a unique but surprisingly delicious choice with the addition of feta cheese. The shrimp taco was seasoned very well. All tacos came with a double layer of corn tortillas for the tacos. The open sauce and lime bar with free cucumber slices added a self-serve element. Also, their menu pre-identifies that gluten-free items are specifically for the Tacos, Appetizers, Tostadas, and Quesabirria, which is helpful for customers with dietary restrictions. Service and the building feel efficient and friendly, with staff cooking tacos promptly and maintaining a smooth flow in the dining area. Staff are very attentive and provide great suggestions (apparently, Mushroom Taco is one of their choices). Also, there is a decent amount of lighting and space to eat for tiny groups like 2-4 people. They do accept cashless options like a credit card. Six tacos in one visit, from Birria and Cochinita to Fish and Shrimp — you came to Tortaco and went FULL champion mode We're glad the al pastor and the fish taco with feta won you over.
